Thinking up a story: is it easy?
THINKING UP A STORY:IS IT EASY? And there I sat with my cat on one side and an Enid Blyton book on another, trying to write a story in that amazing journal of mine. A story : what does it mean? Probably a statement that keeps me awake all night … “Ahhh, why don't I get an idea for a story?” I cry through clenched teeth. “Do you know Enid Blyton?” I say looking at the book.. “You're my favourite author… Just an idea Please…..” But really why stick to an author, why stick to the idea that I love so much? I can be an author or an author or an….. Wait, did I just say an author again? I guess there is no running out of becoming an author. Ok, I'll just go for a small stroll and look at nature, probably I’ll get an idea, then. Ah! I’m home, I say getting back at my desk, after an hour. And there she is..
